Plan on Him.

So in my short 28 years of life, I've learned one thing; you can make plans and yet there's always a bigger and better plan going on.  For example, I always wanted to go to Broadway, looked into schools in Wyoming and BYU to get my musical theater degree.  You know that nagging feeling that tells you that something isn't right?  Well the Holy Ghost, nagging feeling, was the one telling me that it wasn't right.  So what did I do?  Went on a mission to Japan and gained a stronger and more intense testimony of the gospel.  Am I perfect?  H*** NO!  sorry.  But I know that a bigger and better plan was out there for me.

I planned on going to BSU after my mission and what happened?  The nagging feeling!  So what did I end up doing?  Going to ISU, a little bit of a down-grade, ok a huge down-grade but I met Nate.  A bigger and better plan was out there.

So I think you know where this is heading, what were you planning on and didn't end up happening?  Nate and I love our kids and want the ultimate best for them, just like all parents do.  About 6 months ago I had a miscarriage and lost a precious spirit of our Heavenly Father's.  I don't know the bigger and better plan, but I know that I love and appreciate my kids and Nate so much more, because I know the lose that comes from it.  I never thought I would write about this, but I felt that I needed to.  Maybe it's part of the bigger and better plan for someone out there.  I have a strong conviction, I like to call a testimony, that I will see that sweet baby again.  I will be with him/her forever and we will be an eternal family, living with my Heavenly Father forever.

I'm grateful to be able to plan on Him and His bigger and better plan.  God loves us, He tests us, but He loves us.  He wants us to be happy, but He wants us to be what He wants us to be.  So sometimes that means a little hurt and pain.  For some of us we have a lot of hurt and pain.  If you feel like you can't do it, you want help, please come to one of our churches, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  So, yes I'm a Mormon or a Latter-Day Saint.  I'm proud to be one and I'm grateful for the peace and love it brings into my life.  God cares for you, I know it!
