I wish I had...

A garden.  You know a place, a big a spacious part of your yard to go out and dig in the dirt like you did as a kid, but knowing in a matter of days that there would be something growing there.  Something that you toiled over and worried about and wanted so desperately to grow.  Oh well for now we'll have to use someone else's place.

Faranna Hibbert is the nicest lady to let us garden in her's, but I wish I had my own place to go out and cut a freshly grown lettuce head or even some tomatoes that just turned red and is ready to pick.  I have a few planter boxes but our house doesn't get any consistent sun that helps the plants.  So what to do?  Wait for someone to come up to our house and offer us an unreasonably insane amount of money for this place.  Until then I'll make it nice and try and grow some stuff in the back-yard.

So I told you about Isaac, well it's official.  He's apart of our family.  This morning we're eating breakfast at the table and Libby has a book that used to be mine to jot notes in, but now she just draws in it.  She turns to the page that I had "skillfully" drawn our family.  She said, "mom where's Isaac?"   Me, "right there." gesturing to across the table.  "No mom where in the picture?"  So yes, I had to draw Isaac into our family in her book.  Like I said it is a complete likeness of him but we are so glad to have him here and Libby adores him.  She asks all the time, "where's Isaac?"  "He's at dance class."  "Oh, when is he coming back?"

It's gonna be hard to have hime go.

  1. Oh, my heart! That is so sweet . . . he loves little children, so I'm sure he's enamored with her as well.
